When the Error LED flashes, the charger has detected a problem. It will always flash together with another LED to show what type of issue is present.
Here’s what the combinations mean:
Error LED flashing + only the Power On lamp lit
The battery temperature is too high.
The D250 will not charge if the battery temperature is above 65°C.
Charging will restart automatically once the temperature drops below this level.
Error LED flashing + Alternator LED and/or Solar LED lit
A connection problem has been detected.
Check all cables and terminals
Make sure all connections are secure and correctly attached
Inspect for loose, damaged, or incorrect wiring
If the issue persists after checking temperature and connections, the installation should be inspected more closely before use.
