My charger gets hot – is this normal or is it faulty?
A charger will get hot when charging – particularly heavily discharged batteries and during the bulk charging phase. The heat is generated depending on the type and condition of the battery being charged. In some cases, the charger may remain cool when charging other types of batteries.
Always keep the charger on a cool well-ventilated surface when charging.
