The charger does not turn on when connected to the mains. Is it faulty?
Not necessarily. If no LEDs or display lights up, try the following checks first:
Check the power outlet
Test the socket with another device to ensure it is supplying power.
Try a different outlet
Move the charger to another mains socket to rule out outlet issues.
Avoid extension cables
Connect the charger directly to the wall socket, as extension cables can cause power drop or poor contact.
Check the power cable and plug
Make sure there are no signs of damage or loose fittings.
For UK plugs
Check the plug fuse and replace it with one of the same rating if needed.
