Can I charge a AGM battery using my charger?
If your AGM battery is designed to accept a higher charging voltage, use the AGM or Snowflake mode on your CTEK charger. This mode provides a slightly higher voltage (around 14.7V) which many AGM batteries require for optimal charging.
If your charger does not have AGM mode, or if you are unsure, you can use Normal, CAR, or MOTORCYCLE mode. The battery will still reach a full charge, but it may take a little longer.
Because different AGM batteries may have different requirements, always check your battery manufacturer’s recommendations.
